"German for Women" is an intensive language support program for foreign-language women with childcare that takes place four times a year. It includes action- and everyday-oriented language acquisition, promotes networking among women, strengthens self-confidence and participation.

Learning Objective

  • Development and expansion of vocabulary for everyday use
  • Coping with everyday situations (school, children’s education, visits to the doctor, housing, shopping, job, job search, etc.)
  • better pronunciation and oral communication through phonetics practice and conversation

Women who prefer a gender segregated course

Reading and writing skills in Latin script

  • 99 lessons of 45 minutes each

  • CHF 1,520 for private payers from other cantons and referring bodies
